When medically appropriate, our physicians may perform certain in-office procedures, including skin lesion removal or biopsy. A biopsy allows tissue to be sent for laboratory examination when further evaluation is needed.
Not every lesion should be removed in a primary care office. When specialty care is appropriate, we can help coordinate a referral.
