Dr. Paul Stephen Bishop Is Seeing Patients at The Clinic at Glen Rose | A Familiar Face Returns to Family Medicine

If you spent years seeing Dr. Paul Stephen Bishop at his Granbury practice, you already know what kind of doctor he is. And if you've never had the privilege, now's your chance.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Bishop has joined The Clinic at Glen Rose, and he is actively seeing patients.

A Career Built on Community Medicine

Dr. Bishop, DO, spent 23 years practicing family medicine in Granbury (1997–2020), where he became a trusted name in Hood County and the surrounding area. He then brought that same dedication to emergency medicine through 2025. Trained at UNT-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his residency in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy and served as Chief Resident, Dr. Bishop also spent years as a professor with UTNHSC-TCOM — shaping the physicians who are caring for communities like ours today.

A Full-Circle Moment for Glen Rose

Here's the part we love to tell: Dr. Roberts — our own clinic founder — was one of Dr. Bishop's students. During a clinical rotation in Granbury, Dr. Roberts trained under Dr. Bishop. Years later, he had the opportunity to bring his mentor to Glen Rose. That's not just a fun detail; it says something about the kind of medicine both of these men practice — relational, mentorship-driven, rooted in doing right by the patient in front of you.
